Data analytics

Market analysis helps you understand the needs of patients and physicians, assess demand for specific drugs, and identify potential market niches.
Market research
Based on historical data and current trends, companies can forecast future drug sales. This helps plan production, logistics, and marketing strategy.
Sales forecasting
Pharmaceutical companies use data analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of various drugs and compare them with competing products. This makes it possible to optimize the product portfolio and develop new, more effective drugs.
Treatment effectiveness
Supply and demand information helps optimize drug inventories, reduce logistics costs, and avoid market shortages.
Supply chain management
General principles for processing distributor reports and pharmacy chain reports
Reports are uploaded by the Client to the PowerBee FTP server or the Client's FTP server
1
Distributor reports:
  • monthly shipments and stock
  • weekly shipments and stock
Pharmacy chain reports:
  • purchases by pharmacies and pharmacy warehouses, transfers from warehouses to retail outlets
  • retail sales
  • pharmacy and pharmacy warehouse stock
Reports are processed within 1–2 days of receipt
2
  1. SKU (with attributes such as brand/INN/dosage/etc.)
  2. Physical address (with optional GPS coordinates)
  3. Region
  4. City/town
  5. Distributor branch
  6. Legal entity + pharmacy TIN
  7. Supplier (in pharmacy chain purchase reports)
  8. Data unification lets you work with the complete data set for all periods, received from different sources. POWERBEE also provides mapping and loading of historical data from the Client's existing databases
The PowerBee service processes the following data:
PowerBee unifies (standardizes the spelling of) the following data from the source reports of distributors and pharmacy chains:

4
  • as an MS SQL database (hosted by the Client or POWERBEE)
  • as preconfigured Excel or CSV files
  • as preconfigured dashboards with data export to Excel or CSV
  • according to the parameters and settings defined in the dashboard

Data is updated automatically 1–2 times a day, as well as at the Client's request
Processed data is delivered to the Client in several ways:
5
  • pharmacy chain detail: SKU-month-point of sale
  • distributor detail: SKU-day-branch-purchase point, as well as with the data enrichment described above (item 4)
Report parsing, mapping, and data unification are provided both in minimal form:
6
  • mapping and updating of addresses, legal entities, and TINs according to pharmacy chain lists and the internal POWERBEE database; verification of pharmacy chain contract terms
  • price list mapping for distributors and pharmacy chains (by year/month)
  • allocation of pharmacy chain and distributor sales to employees by area of responsibility, including geotargeting algorithms
  • pharmacy categorization
  • linking healthcare facilities and pharmacies to bricks
  • cross-checking of distributor and pharmacy chain data
  • calculation of premiums and bonuses
  • analysis of actual SKU stock at points of sale against the required inventory matrices for pharmacies
PowerBee provides data analysis services such as:
